| Comforter covers |
[July 10, 2009 | 10:26 PM] |
Hello all! I'll be making a PROPER post here soon, but in the mean time, I have a question... Where are your favorite places to get comforter covers?
I've tried Ikea, eBay & Target and I'm not wowed. Any suggestions? I'd prefer to not spend over $80
I love damask, retro florals, bold design and anything that isn't too kiddy looking :D Sort of like the things on Brocade Home, only, you know, not 200 bucks. PS- I have a Full bed. Queen sized is definitely do-able.

Today I got notified that I will be starting at a school for media design in November. As you can see I presently don't have a desk, seeing as I haven't been attending any school for over a year. I don't really want to rearrange my room again as I really love it the way it looks now. Does anyone have an idea where I could put a desk or can think of an alternative that doesn't take up a lot of space? I just basically need a proper place, that is not my piano or bed, where I can sit with my laptop and design. Thanks in advance.

So, I was wondering. I'm moving into a new room, and I want to decorate it in a sort of classic carnival theme. And when I say classic, I mean late 1800s/early 1900s carnivals. Any suggestions on decor, color themes, lighting, etc? Thaaanks in advance!

I thought it was going to be another pathetic sad day but hey, fate was good to me. I decided to stone and the bus decided to run off and I was stranded so I decided to call you and we talked and hung out for the first time in around three to four months. you make me very very glad (: and I'm glad we still remember each other's birthdays, I'm glad we can still joke about things even though you have a girlfriend, I'm glad I can text you or call you and you will actually reply and pick up, I'm glad we don't have to smile awkwardly and walk away anymore. I'm glad I got my friend back. I know you're very different from the other people at the table, maybe because you're not a big strong rich hardworking rugger haha.
You're more awesome than them pls.

I may just still be endorphin high, but I'm loving my new tattoo! Freshly inked (in a six hour session last night) by Greg Ross of Blue Rose Tattoo. Love the fantastical victorianesque design of steampunk clockwork gears with an ornate windup-key. Love the colors.
fyi: the number 46 on the key refers to the number of miles I completed in a 12 hour ultramarathon race back in March. :) LOL....I think getting the tattoo hurt more than all those miles; just another kind of endurance event!

Conundrum Uno:
I am Victory Roll retarded. I just can't make it work. I've tried back brushing and curling irons and and hot rollers and rats and all methods tried, well, they just look pathetic. I don't know what I'm doing wrong because I don't know what I'm doing right. Does anyone have any suggestions at all as to how to baby step my way to getting the hang of this?
*** Conundrum Dos:
I live in the Midwest and my hair is chemically relaxed but still has enough wave that it completely freaks out in the humidity. Can anyone recommend a bulletproof anti-humidity product that doesn't shlack your hair to your head? My hair's porosity is fine, a Caucasian cuticle and chemically treated.
